Manuscript Plan of Cambridge 45
A pencil sketch of the centre of Cambridge showing main streets and Queen's College, Trinity and St. John's College. This is a copy, possibly made in the late 18th century,of part of aplan of Cambridge by Nicholas Hawksmoor dating 1720-30. Hawksmoor was planning some improvements in the layout of the town. This sketchis drawn on the same scale and size as Hawksmoor's drawing, but does not shows all the details of the original.
